    Analysis, design and development of a software prototype for the administration of parking lots

    (Eng) This Project was born because of the needing of a software that simplifies the administration of a parking establishment, in a way that many of the characteristics of this establishments could be set from a software tool. In this project, a desktop app was designed and developed, that works on some Windows versions (7, 8, 8.1, 10), and allows the administration, setting up, and execution of the tasks performed in a parking establishment, with extended characteristics like inventory lending (helmets, etc.) and the creation of parking sites. The prototype has been developed in the Windows platform to take advantage of the basic infrastructure of a parking in Pereira city. The software conception includes activities like client management, employees, complaints, vehicles, monthly installments, incomes, expenses, binnacle, audit, inventory, lending, and billing. In order to develop the prototype, a client/server architecture was used, in order to have the different PCs connected to the same database, sharing between them every management. The IDE WINDEV was used, and the language WLANGUAGE was used for development.

    Los vertiginosos cambios que suceden en el mundo han transformando las organizaciones influencia de la que no son ajenas las empresas de salud. Las empresas del futuro deberán ser funcionales a todo nivel; para ello es indispensable que posean un rumbo estratégico expresado claramente y procesos operativos definidos que faciliten la gestión y garanticen su supervivencia. Como factores claves para asegurar el éxito en las organizaciones modernas se presume tener una filosofía empresarial congruente con su cultura; dominar a profundidad el ámbito de su negocio, contar con políticas consecuentes y constructivistas dirigidas tanto a clientes internos como externos, fomentar una cultura empresarial de prestación del servicio con base en la calidad de los procesos, implementar apropiadas políticas de selección y motivación del talento humano a su interior, poseer adecuados sistemas de comunicación, realizar monitoreo y evaluación permanente del entorno para aprovechar oportunidades y anticipar impedimentos. Vertiginous world wide changes also trigger transformation along the organizations, including health enterprises. The future enterprises must be multilevel functional and have defined their strategic goals including definition of processes facilitating their operation. Actually at all level health teaching enterprises should have a thought strategic direction and defined operative rules in order to have a functional structure that facilitates taking decisions and consequently have defined processes that allow them to respond appropriately to the influence of the environment and other social actors. The success key for modern organizations is to have an appropriate philosophy and managerial culture, to possess deep knowledge of the area of business, to have political managed and constructive rules for both: the internal and external clients in order to offer quality services, to rule appropriate communication models and to make a permanent evaluation of the environment. All that must allow them to respond appropriately to threats and opportunities.

    Planificación ambiental como estrategia para la conservación de una fuente de abastecimiento.

    La cuenca del río Las Piedras es la principal fuente de abastecimiento de agua para la ciudad de Popayán, capital del departamento del Cauca. Este ecosistema estratégico beneficia aproximadamente a 230.000 habitantes y nueve acueductos veredales con 650 familias. La Planificación ambiental ha sido la principal estrategia para la conservación, en la que ha jugado un factor primordial la participación comunitaria y su articulación a procesos concertados con las instituciones, contribuyendo al desarrollo de sus alternativas productivas, mejorando su calidad de vida y las condiciones ambientales del sector, permitiendo avanzar en la gestión social, cultural y biofísica, especialmente en lo que concierne a una mayor estabilidad del recurso hídrico. Abstract The basin of the river Las Piedras is the main source of supply of water for the city of Popayán. This strategic ecosystem benefits approximately 230.000 inhabitants and nine local aqueducts with 650 families. The environmental Planning has been the main strategy for the conservation, in which the community participation and its articulation to processes concerted with the institutions has being a primordial factor, contributing to the development of its productive alternatives, improving its quality of life and the environmental conditions of the sector, allowing to advance in the social, cultural and biophysical administration, especially in what concerns a bigger stability of the water resource.
