In this time period, 10 genera and 21 species of mealybugs were found (16 new records) in the ecosystems of the area studied by the Fomento Territorial Plant Protection Station. These new registries were found on 130 host plants species (40 previously unrecorded for Cuba), from 57 botanical families. This represents a notable increase in the number of genera and species of mealybugs present, as well as in the number of host plants, many of which were previously unreported in Cuba.Publicación Acceso abierto New records of Odonata from a tropical dry forest in the department of Huila, Colombia.(2018-07-09) Lara Contreras, Juan CamiloThe presence of Micrathyria aequalis (Hagen, 1861), Miathyria marcella (Selys, 1857), Lestes forfícula (Rambur 1842), and Acanthagrion inexpectum (Leonard, 1977) is reported for the first time for the Department of Huila, bringing the total number of Odonata species in this part of Colombia to 29.Publicación Acceso abierto Primer registro de Cebidicola semiarmatus (Phthiraptera: Trichodectidae) en el mono aullador rojo, Alouatta guariba clamintans (Primates: Atelidae) en Brasil.(Universidad del Valle, 2018-07-08) Moreira do Nascimento, Rafael; Maturano, Ralph; Oliveira, Mariana; Daemon, Erik; Sociedad Colombiana de Entomología - Socolen; Universidad del Valle; Montoya Lerma, JamesLos piojos son parásitos especializados que desarrollan todo su ciclo de vida en el hospedador.
