In the literature there are many classifications done by different authors, to classify cysts of the oral cavity. Laskin and lester classity them according to their origin: -Odontegenic, -Noc-odontegenic, Bone cysts. This article will specifically concern about the nasopalatine cyst, an epitelial, non-odontegenic cyst, which is among the commonest fisural cyst of the oral cavity. It is generally diagnosed during a routine examination, because it gives little symptoms, X-ray examination is structures (the incisive duct). The local excision, preserving the anatomical structures of the adyacent zone is the treatment of choice, with good results.(AU)
