Ética del placer. Culpa y felicidad en Epicuro.

Abstract

(Spa) El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar la actualidad de la crítica epicúrea a las supersticiones morales, específicamente aquellas relacionadas con la culpabilidad y, con esta, la depuración de algunos obstáculos para lograr la felicidad terrena. Para ello se hace el análisis de varios aspectos claves de la ética de Epicuro: Ethos y physis; Ética del deseo; Culpa y corporeidad; Resistencia in situ; Moral de la amistad; Política y justicia; Culpa y temporalidad. La metodología es fundamentalmente hermenéutica y genealógica (Foucault) dado el análisis textual y la mirada crítica que busca recuperar la resistencia epicúrea como perspectiva fecunda para la elaboración de una ética anti-capitalista en el contexto moderno.

(Eng) This paper aims to show the currency of the epicurean criticism of the moral superstitions, particularly those related to culpability and, together with it, the depuration of some obstacles to reach eternal happiness. To this end, the author analyzes several key points of Epicurean Ethics, namely: ethos and physis; the ethics of desire; guilt and corporeity; in-situ resistance; the morality of friendship; politics and justice; guilt and temporality. The methodology is basically hermeneutical and genealogical (Foucault) given the text analysis and the critical approach which seeks to recover the Epicurean resistance as a fruitful perspective for the creation of an anti- capitalist ethics in the modern context.
