Abstract The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is one of the agreements in the Kyoto Protocol, developed to achieve the objectives of the Convention United Nations Framework on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and help industrialized countries meet their commitments to Mitigation of Greenhouse Gases. The CDM involves developing countries, contributes to the mitigation of climate change, the investment in different economic sectors, and the transfer of clean technologies, supporting sustainable development of regions. In this sense, the article takes issues related to this mechanism and its role in the conservation of ecosystems, their association with sustainability and their application and implementation in Colombia. Abstract In the coming years as global projections of climate change, rural communities will be most affected by the effects of this phenomenon, not only in its territorial composition, but its vital resources; the effects of climate change are already not far from us, and its effects are increasingly visible, although the country has chosen the path of adaptation and mitigation, have a knowledge of the vulnerabilities in the territories, is a route very important in the way of assimilating the damages caused by climate change. This writing, seeks to highlight the status of the vulnerability of the community the collective territory of the black community of La Plata Bahia Malaga, from local perceptions of their leaders, giving importance to knowledge and perceptions of the people, from a intergenerational vision for understanding their worldview from the vulnerability of the communities that make up the council.Publicación Acceso abierto Review Of Recent Developments And Shortcomings In The Characterization Of Potential Atmospheric Ice Nuclei : Focus On The Tropics.(2015-09-21) Yakobi Hancock, Jacqueline D.; Ladino, Luis Antonio; Abbatt, Jonathan P. D.In this paper, we summarize the four main ice nucleating aerosol types: mineral dusts, bioaerosols, soot, and glassy organics, with the aim of demonstrating the limitations in scientifi c literature regarding their ice nucleation properties. Because the tropics are largely associated with marine environments, such as the Atlantic, Pacifi c, and Indian Oceans, they are potential source of ice nuclei, and therefore ice clouds can form in regions of high convective uplift. As a result, these particles are able to infl uence both the planet’s radiative force and its hydrological cycle. Due to our limited understanding of these effects, we would like to encourage the scientifi c community to increase its efforts to study and characterize the tropical aerosol particles that may function as ice nuclei. Through such efforts, we may reduce uncertainties in climate predictions, and improve our understanding of global warming in the hopes of fi nding potential solutions to these issues.
