Publicación Acceso abierto Synthesis and characterization of perovskites halides type CsPbI3 submicron structures(Universidad del Valle, 2025) Jamioy Aricapa, Alvaro Daniel; Mosquera Vargas, Edgar Eduardo; MILLAN FRANCO, MARIO ALEJANDROThis study presents the hot-injection synthesis and characterization of CsPbI₃ submicron structures, focusing on how organic ligands affect morphology, crystallinity, and optical response. Oleic acid (OA) was used as the primary ligand, with systematic variations including oleamide (OAd) and oleylamine (OAm) to control nucleation, anisotropic growth, and phase stabilization. Structural and spectroscopic analyses were carried out using scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDS), UV–Vis absorption, photoluminescence (PL), and Raman spectroscopy. Among the tested formulations, the OA + OAm system favored the growth of elongated, nanowire-like structures. It showed spectroscopic features consistent with partial stabilization of the optically active α-CsPbI₃ phase at room temperature, along with suppression of PbI₂-related signals. These results highlight the effectiveness of ligand engineering in directing anisotropic growth and stabilizing desirable perovskite phases, emphasizing the potential of colloidal strategies to customize CsPbI₃ nanostructures for advanced optoelectronic applications, such as photovoltaics, light-emitting devices, and photodetectors.
