Estudios realizados por el autor y colaboradores le permitieron determinar entre las causas de las deficiencias que se manifiestan en los egresados de la carrera de Licenciatura en Educación Primaria de la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas de Holguín, Cuba, una inadecuada estructuración didáctico-metodológica del proceso de enseñanzaaprendizaje de la asignatura Geografía de Cuba y su Metodología, tributaria del modo de actuación profesional. El autor propone una solución desde la didáctica desarrolladora, consistente en el diseño y ejecución de Talleres didáctico-cartográficos que siguen la lógica de la actuación del profesor de Geografía y que permiten preparar al futuro maestro o profesor para dirigir el proceso de enseñanzaaprendizaje de la Geografía escolar y la investigación educativa en las escuelas donde se desempeñan. Los Talleres didáctico-cartográficos constituyen un tipo de clase en la educación superior que facilitan perfeccionar el desarrollo de las habilidades pedagógico-profesionales de los docentes en formación y que dan solución a los problemas que se manifiestan al enseñar la Geografía escolar según la lógica de la profesión, contribuyendo a elevar la prepración del futuro maestro o profesor. ABSTRACT. Studies realized for the author and the collaborators permitted determining to to him among the causes of deficiencies that become manifest in the graduate ones belonging to Primary education University of Holguín, Cuba, an inadequate didactic structuring methodological of process of teaching learning of subject of study Geography of Cuba and his Methodology, taxpayer of mode of professional performance. The author proposes a solution from the didactic developer consisting of the design that they follow, and didactic cartographic Workshops execution the logic of performance of Geography’s professor that they permit and preparing to the master future or professor to direct the process of teaching learning of Geography student and the educational investigation at the elementary schools where they are doing. The didactic cartographic Workshops constitute a form to organize the teaching process that they make easy making the development of the teacher’s pedagogic professional abilities perfect in the making and that they give solution to the problems that they become manifest when the student according to the logic of profession, contributing lift the preparation of the master future or professor teach Geography.
